Our Wedding Announcements

Our Wedding Announcements turned out perfect! Just the way I wanted them! We wanted Jaden to be just as much a part of this wedding as we are and our amazing photographer Heather Nulph Photography did just that!

Christmas 2015

We woke up to a sick Jaden and Grandpa and even though they tried, it was hard for them to enjoy Christmas! Jaden got spoiled, of course! Anything to put a smile on his face! This was Jadens 2nd Christmas and our first Christmas with Jace! In the end, it was a great Christmas! 

Thanksgiving 2015

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of fun, laughter, family and food! It snowed that morning so we went out for a sled ride! I am thankful for my handsome son who is always the life of the party and makes me laugh more than I ever have. I am thankful for my good lookin fiancé who makes me happier than I've ever been! And for my parents, who have helped me more than anyone in the world! They have been there for us no matter what, without a seconds thought! I am beyond grateful for the gospel and the joy and happiness that it has brought to me and my family and that it makes it possible for us to be a forever family! 

Engagment Pictures

On November 9th we took our engagement pictures. We, of course made Jaden a big part of them because we are becoming a family! They turned out amazing thanks to our wonderful photographer Heather Nulp Photography! Here are some of my favorites!

Halloween

This was Jaden's 2nd Halloween and we had so much fun! 

Pumpkin Time

We went to Boo at the Zoo with the cousins. We dressed up as Mickey and Minnie. It was super crazy and busy, but Jaden loved all of the action going on!

We had our ward Trunk or Treat. We dressed up as a family. Grandpa was Spoty the Dalmatian, Jace was Dipstick the Dalmatian, Jaden was Lucky the Dalmatian, Mommy was Cruella De Vil and Grandma was the puppy nurse (even though you can't see her cute Dalmatian scrub top)

Halloween 2015. We only went to a few houses trick or treating, but it was so much fun! Jaden loved walking all around and was mad when we put him in the car!

Jaden has 2 Dads

Jaden is an extra special little boy! One reason being, that he has 2 Dads! Daddy #1 Brett loved Jaden so much that he had to go and become his guardian angel and he sent us Daddy #2 Jace who loves Jaden so much that he had to stay! Coming into this situation and becoming an instant dad is not an easy job. Jace is the dad who doesn't have to be, but wants to be! Jaden will always know that he has 2 Dads who both love him unconditionally!  

The Fair 2015

Jaden got to enjoy his first fair this weekend and that night we got to watch Daddy ride a bull at the Bull Riding Championships! We love watching Daddy doing what he loves! Jaden had a blast watching all the people and animals and making new friends! Later, Jace and I took a ride on the mechanical bull, since that's as close as Jace will let me get to riding a bull!

Never in a million years did I think that I would be talking about this! As the saying goes, God laughs when you tell him your plans! Brett was one of the loves of my life and I will always love him, but life is a long hard ride without someone there by your side! Wether you want it or not, life goes on! It wasn't wanted or expected, but I'm sure glad it did! At the first of June an old friend looked me up on Facebook and we haven't stopped talking since! We were head over heels from the get go! I have found another love of my life that I can't wait to spend forever with! He is such an incredible man and loves Jaden, like he was his own! And Jaden loves him! He doesn't have to be so amazing to us, but he wants to be! Jaden is special enough that he has two Daddy's! One who loved him so much that he had to go and sent him daddy number two who loves him so much that he had to stay! I know without a doubt that Brett sent Jace into our lives to take care of us and love us! I am happy again and I can see a future again! Jace has brought tons of love and laughter into our lives and we love him more than all the stars in the sky and waves in the sea! Love laughter and happily ever after with a cowboy!

Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day Daddy! We love and miss you so much, but we couldn't have asked for a better Guardian Angel watching over us! I am so proud to have your son, who looks and acts just like you! I am proud of you and the amazing man that you are! You really stepped up and became the perfect Daddy! I got the man! Never thought I could rope you in and change you! I am so grateful that you got time in Heaven to spend together! Jaden loves to stare at your pictures and yell Da! You are his Hero! He loves you, we both do! Thank you for all that you do for us! You are forever in hearts! 

Happy Father's Day to the best grandpa ever! We don't always see eye to eye, but he is always there for me and more importantly he is always there for Jaden! He is a lighthouse who helped bring us to the light! He never gave up on me! He never second guessed bringing Jaden and I into his home and helping to raise him, even when that means getting up with him in the middle of the night! Thank you for all you do for us Grandpa! We love you!

May is such a fun and exciting month, but it is also full of sadness and heartbreak. 

May 18

It's been 15 years since you left us. It still seems like yesterday. The images of that day are imbedded in my mind. You were so proud to go to West Point and we were so proud of you! You are still one of the smartest guys I will ever know. In honor of you, we are wearing West Point shirts! I hope that makes you happy to see your nephew supporting one of your biggest accomplishments! You are my hero and will be forever loved and missed. You have always protected me and guided me and continue to do so. As much I miss you, I am so grateful that you were there taking care of Jaden and there to welcome my sweetheart home with loving arms. I know that the two of you are the best of friends! Thank you for taking care of Jaden and Brett for me. Jaden stares at your picture. He will always know what a smart, lovable and selfless man his uncle was. We love you Uncle Brandon.

It was a year ago that I went to the hospital to have our precious little boy! A Gemini, just like us, just like you wanted! Only 2 short months after loosing you! He is the best gift you ever could have given me! And the best reminder that you will always be with me! He is so much like you it makes my heart happy! You and our love live on through him! He loves to look at your picture and say Da. I love and miss you every second of every day! Love never forgets! Our love goes on forever! The hours turn to months and the months to years! I miss you so much! I will always love you! I will never love anyone as much as I love you! No one will ever compare to you! I am yours always and forever! You had your faults, but you are the greatest man I will ever know! As much as it killed me to loose you, it didn't truly hit me until I was in the hospital waiting for our mini us to arrive without you by my side! That's when I realized that I could no longer convince myself you were just at work. It's like I lost you all over again. It's such a great month with celebrating the birthdays of the 2 loves of my life, and yet it's also one of the hardest months celebrating without you! It breaks my heart, but I know that you are still here with us! We love you Brett!

It's been 1 year, 12 months, 365 days, 8760 hours since you left your Daddys loving arms in Heaven and came to be with Mommy! I know that you wanted to stay with your Daddy, but you chose to come be with me, for that I love you! You have been my greatest joy! You are a constant reminder of your Daddy! 

Today our baby boy is 1! That was the fastest year of my life! A year ago the second love of my life came into this world! I am eternally grateful to you! You have brought peace, comfort, love and happiness into my life! You are the only one who can make me smile through the tears! You truly are my rainbow after the tragic storm! Time is flying by and you are growing up so fast, I wish there was button to freeze time and keep you a baby forever! You are my everything and I would do anything for you! I will always be your biggest fan and greatest supporter and protector! Everything I do, is what I believe to be best for you. We have an extra special bond, that is irreplaceable and makes us the best of friends! I hope we always will be! I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be! Daddy loves you to the moon and back, Mommy loves you to Heaven and back and we love you more than all the stars! Happy birthday baby bear!

Happy 33rd Birthday to my Sweetheart! We know that you want this to be a very special and happy day, so in honor of you we are doing things that remind us of you and what you loved! I love you and miss you every second of every day! I wish you were here to celebrate your special day with us! As we know this is just a moment in time, it won't last forever and I will be celebrating birthdays with you again soon! Our love will last for eternity! You have my whole heart forever and for always! You are the most amazing man I will ever know. You could always make me smile no matter what! Jaden and I love you more than all the stars papa bear! My First Mother's Day

Happy Mothers Day to the most amazing mom and grandma! We love you so much! We can never thank you enough for all that you have done for us! When the world is against us, you are always there for us! The only thing better than having you as a mom, is my baby having you as a grandma!

Happy First Mothers Day to me! Being a Mommy is the greatest gift in the world! I wouldn't be a Mommy to this beautiful angel, if it wasn't for my Sweetheart Brett! My dreams came true because of you! You are my forever! I love you so much! Thank you for our mini us! 

Jadens 1st Easter

We had fun celebrating Jaden's first Easter! We colored Easter eggs and did a trail of eggs to Jaden's Easter baskets! I have so much fun being the mommy of this handsome little man! I love making holidays special for him and making memories! Jaden reminds me everyday of his Daddy! It makes me so happy! I feel like I have a piece of Brett with me again!

This also marks another holiday spent without Brett! It also means one holiday closer to being with him again! We decorated his memorial garden with some fun Easter decorations! His garden is coming along great! I love how it's looking! I feel so much peace being out there! I also feel close to Brett when I am out there! 

As I reflect upon Easter and the love I have for my Heavenly Father and his church, I know that he does have a mission and a plan for me! He has known what was going to happen in my life all along! I know that I did accept this life and all of the hard trials that came with it, because in the end, it will all be worth it! I will see my handsome sweetheart again someday and we will live together forever with our baby bear! Someday, somehow, someway, I will be sealed to my little family! I know that is what I want, what Jaden wants, what Brett wants and what Heavenly Father wants! He will make it happen in his own perfect time! I love you Brett and I miss you more than words could explain! I'll love you forever, my Sweetheart! Our sweet Jaden, Mommy and Daddy love you more than all the stars! I am so thankful for you and the love, light and happiness that you have brought into my life! 

3-22-2015 10 months

Jaden is 10 months old! He is my ray of sunshine! After weeks of teething, he finally got his first tooth. It's the front right bottom tooth and he loves to feel it! On his Daddy's angel anniversary 3-21 he took his first steps while holding grandpas hands. Jaden is a curious little boy! He loves touching mommys face, especially her eyelashes! He loves bananas, chocolate pudding, homemade cookies, tootie fruities and cold apple juice! 

 

March 21, 2015 Brett's 1st Angel Anniversary

It's been 1 year, 12 months, 365 days, 8760 hours since I lost you and not a single second has gone by without missing you, loving you and wishing you were here! Not a day goes by that I don't cry! Oh how I miss you sweetheart! I at least got to say goodbye and give you one last kiss! I thought you were going home to sleep, I had no idea that you were going home to Heaven. I will never forget the last words you said to me! It's your love that gets me through this! You are my one and only true love forever! Even though we aren't "legally" married, you will always and forever be the love of my life, my sweetheart, my eternal companion, my Prince Charming and my husband! I will love you until forever ends! You and Jaden are the loves of my life, my everything! We loved each other like there was no tomorrow and for that I have no regrets, I only wish we had more time together! We will be together again forever in our paradise! I am forever grateful to you for our handsome mini us! You gave me the most wonderful gift in the world! You live on through Jaden! He is a constant reminder of our love. There's no way I could ever forget about you with a son that looks and acts just like you! He keeps me on my toes and keeps me laughing, just like his Daddy!  Although we cannot see you, we know you are still here with us. We feel your love, comfort and guidance helping us through each and every day. We miss you and love you so very much! Forever can't come soon enough! We love you to the moon and back, we love you to heaven and back and we love you more than all the stars. Between now and then til I see you again I'll be loving you, love me!

I am forever grateful to my amazing boys! Both of them have saved my life. Brett came into my life and gave me hope! He made me truly happy and strive for things that I thought would never happen. My dreams have come true because of him! And when I lost him, I lost everything! My life was shattered, turned upside down and inside out! And then Jaden came along and saved my life! He helped me to pick up of some of the pieces. He has given me joy, happiness, smiles and laughter in a dark world of sorrow and tears. You are my sweethearts and the loves of my life! I love you both to Heaven and back and I love you more than all the stars! 

I wanted to do a something special to remember Brett today, so we sent some balloons to Brett in Heaven. The tags are what I wrote on our balloons that we released at the cemetery for his funeral. Did 20 black, blue and silver balloons and then a green and blue for Jaden and a pink and purple for me! We love you Daddy Brett!

Our shirts I made for today for Brett's 1st angel anniversary! Mama Bear and Baby Bear. My (Sweetheart)(Daddy) was so Amazing God made him an angel!

It's hard to believe that this was a year ago today 3-21-2014! We were so excited to see our little man in 3D! The last thing Brett and I did together was seeing what our son looks like.
